Job Overview:

This is a 1099 contract position – 30-40 hours per week. Position requires onsite in Santa Clara office. Not open to remote or telecommuting

  • Full cycle recruiting
  • Developing job descriptions with hiring managers
  • Sourcing
  • Phone screen and interview scheduling (we have a coordinator)
  • Engage candidates and present to hiring managers
  • Closing candidates from beginning through offer
  • Leverage expertise to effectively engage with hiring managers to understand the job and team requirements in a startup environment
  • Be a recruiting expert, including
  • Ability to utilize sourcing channels
  • Generate qualified candidates
  • Leverage internal employee networks for referrals and leads
  • Ability to learn and grasp a quickly changing technology and environment to meet hiring needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate agility and effectively cope with ambiguous scenarios, work in a self-directed environment.
  • Able to come up with “out of the box” solutions despite ambiguity and be able to highlight and cover gaps as driven by business needs.
  • Partner with other business functions to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive talent map
  • A demonstrated history of success in the development of a diverse slate of candidates thought the hiring process.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Strong organization and time management skills – detailed oriented with prompt administrative follow-up and attention to accuracy
  • Utilizing applicant tracking system (JAZZ)
  • Ensuring state and federal tracking compliance
  • Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize, awareness of timelines and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • BA/BS or above, or the equivalent
  • 5+ years full cycle recruiting (start up or large organization, or combination)
