Want to be part of the next big thing? Join Big Switch Networks! We’re seeking a dynamic and passionate individual who can successfully drive platform initiatives and strategy for Big Switch’s SDN and Open source solutions.

Job Overview:

This position is contract to hire.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provided desktop support for mixed operating system environment including Windows 7/8, Linux and MAC user
  • Secured hardware and software (Laptops, Desktops, Toner, etc.)
  • Configured systems for new employees
  • Fulfilled regular health checks of desktop systems
  • Completed general desktop and network troubleshooting
  • Executed Active Directory tasks such as password resets, security groups
  • Performed Office 365 administrative tasks
  • Maintained local meeting rooms and manage video conferencing systems and other supporting equipment (TVs, projectors)
  • Performed other IT and Facilities tasks as identified
  • Receive and troubleshoot all incoming technical issues related to retail locations and corporate offices
  • Network administration support, including printers and phone setup
  • Work with Vendors to troubleshoot and repair network issues

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the networking industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The position is based out of our HQ office in Santa Clara.
