Job Overview:

The Marketing Programs Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of demand and awareness programs and events that generate new prospects and sales opportunities. You partner closely with inside sales, regional account managers, product marketing/management and across the marketing team to develop and implement our programs.  You may develop – or assist in the development of – marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics (webinars, email campaigns, tradeshows, account-based marketing programs and regional events). You drive the growth of our webinars, one of the strongest lead gen programs in place today.

Working extensively with both internal and external stakeholders, you both define and execute marketing programs, and are committed to generating high-quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Grow and Develop Big Switch’s core demand programs: webinars, industry events, eMarketing campaigns
  • Manage and operate our webinar program, expand today’s program with new topics, new markets, new channels and new ideas
  • Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling initiatives
  • Leverage our content assets via promotional programs, including industry events, virtual shows and conferences, roundtables, executive dinners, customer events, webinars, and direct mail programs
  • Collaborate with Inside sales and Field sales teams to develop regional demand programs that enable sales reps to accelerate ramp in territories
  • Partner with Inside Sales to develop & implement new lead gen programs (eg. target account campaigns, competitive programs)
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs. Optimize programs to drive increased results & lead generation
  • Manage and negotiate agreements with marketing agencies

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • BS in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or comparable education/experience
  • 5-7 years’ experience in B2B marketing/field marketing/demand marketing
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing and sales systems: Marketo, SFDC, GoToWebinar, ON24, ClearSlide, and social media channels.
  • Proven experience in building and implementing marketing programs & events (domestic & international)
  • Region, field, and channel marketing program management experience preferred
  • Solid ability to manage large, detailed projects in a fast-paced environment with on-time, on-budget results
  • Strong knowledge of B-to-B sales cycle and how to identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration
  • High energy, self-directed, highly organized team player
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, knowledge of grammatical rules
  • Ability to build relationships and interact across the organization. Strong collaboration & partnership skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs and ad hoc requests. You thrive in a fast paced work environment
  • Passion for marketing and customers. Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
