Sales Development Representative - East Coast (JB ID1839)

The Sales Development Representative’s primary goal is to schedule meaningful interactions between field personnel and targeted prospect and customer accounts.  S/he will utilize communication skills to call on marketing and partner leads to qualify and develop early stage opportunities for hand-off to field personnel.  You’ll be part of a growing team that includes field sales managers and sales engineers, working collectively to meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales performance goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule meetings between end users and field personnel
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through marketing campaign engagements
  • Identify decision makers within target accounts to initiate sales process
  • Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to maintain and expand business with existing customers
  • Collaborate with Territory Account Managers to determine how to best position BSN’s product value
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects and the forecasting of opportunities in Salesforce CRM

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent, required
  • 5+ years sales experience in the Tool, Network Packet Broker, or Network Markets required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Office Suites, and Salesforce CRM required
  • Able to portray a high level of professionalism and confidence to clients via phone and email
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an account team
  • High energy and drive to achieve results, superior relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Experience working with channel partners (VARs) a plus
